Our next ANNUAL MEETING will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 6:30p.m. at the common grass area next to the East Pool Facility. Food will be served! Homeowners are welcome!

4/31/12 - SPECIAL NOTICE - BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTIONS - MESQUITE RANCH ANNUAL MEETING
The Mesquite Ranch Homeowners’ Association Board of Director Elections will be held in May at the Annual meeting. All homeowners interested in running for a position on the Board should fill out a Nomination Form .
2/21/12 - Approved House Color Palette
Just a reminder that the HOA Board had a color palette made of the approved house color and trim colors for all Mesquite Ranch homes a few years ago. If you are going to repaint your home this year, please visit Frazee paints at Rita Ranch Road and Houghton in the Fry's parking lot. They have a palette book for Mesquite Ranch. Make sure you tell them who your homebuilder is as they have separated these colors by homebuilder. Your builder is either KB Homes (NW quadrant) Lennar (SW quadrant), US Homes (NE quadrant) or Monterey homes (SE quadrant). You may only choose from your builder palette. If you are simply repainting your home the exact same colors there is no need to send an approval to the Board. If you are requesting any changes to your color you will need to submit a request to the DRC committee to review.
8/27/11 - Open Board Positions
We currently have some open board positions. If you are interested in serving on our HOA, please email your bio to Cathy Meek at Cathy Meek and plan on attending the September 15th Board meeting.
8/27/11 - Welcome New Board Members!
Two new homeowners joined our Board at the August meeting. Please welcome Mike Cherry and Mike Sunday. Their bios have been posted under the Board Members link. We still have Board openings. See post above for information.
8/12/11 - ---> Rental Amendment Rescinded <---
Early this week it was brought to the attention of Association management (ADAM LLC) that the rental amendment filed in 2005 may not be valid. Association management immediately notified the Association Board of Directors and forwarded the concern to the Association attorney. After careful investigation of the information and a thorough review of the ballots from 2005, the Board concluded the rental amendment was in fact not valid. According to the Association CC&Rs that govern our community, a 2/3 affirmative vote by the entire membership is required to amend Association CC&Rs. The September 2005 vote did not have the required number of affirmative votes to enact and record the rental amendment. Your Mesquite Ranch Association Board of Directors had no knowledge of this oversight. Over the past six years many homeowners have served the Mesquite Ranch Community as Board Members and all have done so with the intention of serving the community to the fullest. The current Board of Directors would like to extend its sincerest apologies on behalf of all Directors, past and present.

At this time the Association Board of Directors has instructed the Association Attorney to rescind the amendment recorded in 2005.

1/28/12 - Happy New Year to all of our MR Homeowners!
As you know the HOA held a holiday home decorating contest during December. Our judges had such a hard time determining winners as so many homes were so beautifully decorated. We are happy to announce the winners of the contest:

2nd Place- 10685 E Ravenswood
3rd Place- 10476 E Haymarket
