Welcome to the Mesquite Ranch Homeowners' Association website.

The MRHOA wishes you and your families a safe and happy holiday season.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 6:30p.m. at the National Self Storage, 7555 S. Houghton Road, just south of Valencia Road next to Brake Max. Meeting starts at 6:30pm. Homeowners are welcome!

This year the Board has voted to provide $100, $75 and $50 gift certificates to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners of the annual Best Decorated Home(s) Holiday Contest. For anyone wishing to participate in the contest, it's time to get the imagination rolling. Have fun, be creative and best of all have a safe and Happy Holiday season!

8/27/11 - Open Board Positions

We currently have some open board positions. If you are interested in serving on our HOA, please email your bio to Cathy Meek at Cathy Meek and plan on attending the September 15th Board meeting.

8/27/11 - Welcome New Board Members!

Two new homeowners joined our Board at the August meeting. Please welcome Mike Cherry and Mike Sunday. Their bios have been posted under the Board Members link. We still have Board openings. See post above for information.

8/12/11 - ---> Rental Amendment Rescinded <---

Early this week it was brought to the attention of Association management (ADAM LLC) that the rental amendment filed in 2005 may not be valid. Association management immediately notified the Association Board of Directors and forwarded the concern to the Association attorney. After careful investigation of the information and a thorough review of the ballots from 2005, the Board concluded the rental amendment was in fact not valid. According to the Association CC&Rs that govern our community, a 2/3 affirmative vote by the entire membership is required to amend Association CC&Rs. The September 2005 vote did not have the required number of affirmative votes to enact and record the rental amendment. Your Mesquite Ranch Association Board of Directors had no knowledge of this oversight. Over the past six years many homeowners have served the Mesquite Ranch Community as Board Members and all have done so with the intention of serving the community to the fullest. The current Board of Directors would like to extend its sincerest apologies on behalf of all Directors, past and present.

At this time the Association Board of Directors has instructed the Association Attorney to rescind the amendment recorded in 2005.

8/25/11 - HOA Board Meeting

This meeting date was originally scheduled for August 18th. It has been changed to August 25th. The meeting will be held at National Storage at 6:30p.m.

5/19/11 - ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS - ANNUAL MEETING THIS MONTH!

The Mesquite Ranch HOA Annual Meeting and elections will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, 6:30p.m. at Senita Valley Elementary School. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MEETING LOCATION CHANGE ... THIS MONTH ONLY! Ballots are being mailed out this week. Please return your ballots promptly as the meeting can only be held if there is a quorum. A quorum is established by the number of attendees and/or ballots so it is important they are returned quickly.

Mark you calendars! It is a good time to get involved in your community.

3/10/11 - Mesquite Ranch Homeowners' Association March Meeting Date Change

Due to Vail School District's Spring Break we have moved our meeting to Thursday, March 10, 2011.

3/2/11 - Board of Directors Nomination Form

Mesquite Ranch Homeowners Association Board of Directors, is currently seeking nominations for three (3) board positions that will be voted on and announced at the Annual Meeting on May 19, 2011.

If you wish to seek election, or would like to nominate a homeowner for the 2011–2012 Board of Directors, please click HERE to print your nomination form. Deadline is April 22, 2011.

3/2/11 - Exterior Wall Maintenance Survey

Recently our HOA Board of Directors sent out letters to those homeowners whose home has one or more exterior stucco and painted wall letting them know it was time for cosmetic repairs and repainting as they have begun cracking and fading.

According to the CC&R’s the homeowner of such lots must maintain these at their own expense. The Mesquite Ranch HOA Board is doing a survey of ALL homeowners to see if homeowners would like to amend the CC&R’s making these walls the responsibility of the HOA in which all 619 homes would share equally the cost of cosmetic repairs and paint only.
